Milton: Magang Menjadi Kunci Kegiatan KTNA di Malang

Tuan rumah pelaksanaan Pekan Nasional Kontak Tani Nelayan Andalan yang ke XIV Tahun 2014 di Kabupaten Malang yang akan berlangsung 7-12 Juni 2014 sudah menyiapkan 41 lokasi magang pertanian dan perkebunan, 12 lokasi magang perikanan, 10 lokasi magang peternakan, 5 lokasi magang kehutanan serta 12 lokasi magang dari program Kementerian Pertanian. <!–[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> Milton Crosby, M. Si saat melihat langsung tempat tinggal peserta asal Kabupaten Sintang yang berjumlah 32 orang pada Jumat, 6 Juni 2014. Dari 32 orang tersebut disebar di tiga rumah penduduk di Dusun Sonotengah RW 14 RT 66 Desa Kebon Agung Kecamatan Pakisaji yakni di rumah keluarga Yoyok, Keluarga Karyati yang juga Ketua Kelompok Wanita Tani Sri Rejeki, dan rumah keluarga Kusworo menyampaikan bahwa kunci keberhasilan keikutsertaan Kabupaten Sintang dalam Penas KTNA di Kabupaten Malang ini adalah pada pelaksanaan magang. “Kabupaten Malang itu surplus padi mencapai 65 ribu ton. Perikanan, peternakan, dan pertanian dalam artian luas itu sudah maju dan berhasil. Saya melihat pada saat magang itu yang penting, maka saya minta supaya semua peserta asal Kabupaten Sintang baik petani dan penyukuh suapaya serius pelajari cara mereka bertani, beternak dan sebagainya” pinta Bupati Sintang kepada seluruh petani dan penyuluh yang berkumpul saat kunjungan Bupati Sintang tersebut. “Pelajari apa kelebihan produk pertanian di sini, cari informasi dan timbalah ilmu pertanian dengan benar sehingga keikutsertaan kita di sini tidak sia-sia. Saya juga semuanya untuk saling menjaga satu sama lain. Jaga hubungan yang baik dengan pemilik rumah. Kita tentu bersyukur dan berterima kasih karena sudah diberikan tempat untuk menginap selama satu minggu di sini. Saling menghormati dengan tetangga. Jaga keamanan, jangan bikin ribut, jaga nama baik daerah, dan tentu jaga kesehatan selama mengikuti kegiatan disini” pinta Bupati Sintang. Bupati Sintang menyampaikan bahwa sumber daya petani memang harus di perkuat. Kita memang tidak mungkin membuat target tanpa membangun sumber daya manusia yang handal. Persoalan pupuk yang langka dan mahal, akan kita coba bawa ke dalam forum pertemuan tingkat nasional. Jangan sampai diekspor karena kebutuhan pupuk petani kita sangat tinggi dan saat ini harganya tinggi. Saya juga melihat kuncinya memang harus ulet, profesional dan konsentrasi. Sementara Kepala Badan Penyuluh Pertanian, Perikanan, Peternakan,Kehutanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Ir.Florentinus Anum, M.Si menyampaikan bahwa Kelompok Wanita Tani di Kabupaten Malang sudah sampai pada pengolahan hasil pertanian secara baik. “Coba dipelajari cara mereka, produk pertanian apa saja yang sudah diolah menjadi bentuk lain yang nilai ekonominya sudah tinggi” pinta Florentinus Anum.
